How does our dog boarding work?
We do not take dogs that are not neutered and house broken, social with other humans and dogs,
incessant barkers and not current on all vaccinations and flea and tick control. Firstly, we offer and
recommend an introductory visit, free of charge, to your prospective host’s home so that you and your pet
will feel comfortable with his or her care while you are away. Typically, it is an opportunity for them to
inspect and smell around the home in a relaxed way and to meet their new friends who will be looking after
them. This is time to discuss their regular feeding, exercise schedule and medications ( if any ) and
anything else that concerns you. We also offer as an alternative to boarding in our home, a service to
which we visit your pets in your home while you're away. This is ideal for pets who do not do well in foreign
environments, as well as for owners who want their pets to "hold down the fort" when they're out of town.
Your host will provide our agreement for you to complete so that he or she will have contact information,
the name of your Veterinarian and your instructions so that they will be prepared to continue your daily
regimens, as well as handle any problem that may arise in a prompt and professional manner. You will get
instructions on what to bring on drop off day which are typically their food, leash, bedding, and toys.
Dog Walking
Four Legged Pet Care provides a personalized dog walking service that offers walks tailored to your dog’s
